DIFINITY's mission is to archive individual, human history..... nanoengrave it in biographical disks.....combine it with a DNA sample and a portion of the individuals cremated remains; and inter this in space. DIFINITY INC. is a space burial corporation.

The pyramid has been an integral part of our culture and of consciousness for past millennium. It is a Plutonic solid, a universal shape that has served numerous purposes...from the burial sites for the Pharaohs, worship sites for the Incas/Aztecs/ Mayans, as well as, modern architectural landmarks; such as, the Eiffel tower, The San Francisco Pyramid Building and the Lourve Museum. This shape provides a gateway (along with hieroglyphics) to the understanding both of the past and of the future. History, romance, archeology are all associated with this shape. Now a new use for this universal shape is being introduced...an " archeology of the future " is being formed.

 Individual time capsules; miniature, equilateral pyramids will be used as containers for those individuals who want to leave behind more than just a windswept headstone and a dim memory of their existence. These mini-pyramids, would house the cremated remains, DNA sample and autobiographical/Nano engraved disk. 

This combination would serve as a new archeological, data base that would contain the oral/visual history of the planet....one person at a time. Each participant would collect their memories and their DNA ( it would be securely stored ) then upon demise their ashes would be included. And, upon reaching a full payload ( twelve containers ) be interred in space...leaving the sands of the Pharaohs far behind, sending the history of mankind to the stars....a type of " Star Seed ". 

All types of people would participate in this endeavor. People who are paid participants, those who are chosen by lottery and those who are considered " extraordinary " people and are invited. These include; civic leaders, scientists, spiritual leaders, etc. Each container is composed of a rigid, lightweight composite to insure the safety of the contents. 

This material is resistant to..... radiation, penetration, extreme heat and cold...all the properties of a harsh space environment. The biodisks are of a nonoutgassing material chosen for longevity, and all appropriate steps have been taken to secure the integrity of the capsules. Not only is the pyramid shape functional ( easily stacked ) it also has a strong historical and romantic reference. The environmental impact of space burial saves land for food, shelter and natural vegetations/species. Land burials use 1600 sites per acre. Yet, it is the ancient wonder of the pyramids tied to the never ending voyage through space, the making of history in the future and the preservation of our stories....which are the true, compelling attractions of this endeavor. 

All things fear time......only time fears the pyramids.
